Err -43 copying files to new folder when there is cache

Featured Replies

I have an array that has a cache disk in front of it.  On my Mac if I create a new folder in my movie collection and then try and copy a file into that folder I get a -43 error code.  If I unmount the network share and remount it then I can copy files in.  If I shell to the server and rm -rf the folder and then remake it I can use it.  I think it has something to do with the cache disk because I did the following tests:

1.  Try to create folders and copy files to a different linux based smb server. No error

2.  Removed the cache disk and copied several files over creating new folders and it always worked.

So I think there is *some* issue related to a Mac OS client and the cache disk.
