RANDOM RESTART WHY?

Featured Replies

So I just started with Unraid, my unraid server randomly restarts and I have my syslog mirrored to the flash drive but nothing in there says why its randomly restarts. I have booted in legacy mode even though I am running a Ryzen 1700 which can support UEFI but I have noticed legacy is better during the crashes because the webgui comes back online. I have booted into SAFE MODE NO PLUGINS, and ITS IS STABLE SO FAR. How do i determine which plugin in causing the crashes?

On bootup, do a memory test.  Any errors, change memory.

Also just check that you are not overclocking CPU or RAM and check voltage settings in the BIOS.  Those kinds of things can sometimes be a reason for unepected crashes or reboots.
