Hello,

 

I'm currently building my first Unraid box to replace an old synology NAS + old PC.

Mostly I'll use it for:

- Storage/Backup repository

- NextCloud sync

- Personal Plex Server (so I don't expect more than 1-2 reads at the same time)

- Personal website hosting (family blog)

- I am sure I'll end-up running 1-2 VMs

- other uses I'll find on the way...

 

Here is what the build will look like (I'll post more when I get the parts)

  • Memory: 2x16Gb Samsung M391A2K43BB1-CTD
  • CPU: Xeon E-2246G
  • PSU: Corsair SF600 platinum
  • Cache drive: Sabrent M.2 NVME SSD 1tb
  • Parity: Seagate Ironwolf 10TB
  • Storage: 4x 8TB drive (WD and Seagate)
  • CPU ventirad: CRYORIG C7 G
  • Flash drive: Lexar JumpDrive S47 128gb
