June 15, 20206 yr I've been having a problem for the last few months where as soon as a scheduled parity check starts I get "Parity disk in error state (disk dsbl)" / "array has errors" / "read check started." emails. The first time this happened i thought perhaps the parity disk was bad, so i moved the current one to the array and got a new disk to take its place. On the initial install I rebuilt everything and it seemed fine, until the same thing happened again on the scheduled parity check some time later. After this time I replaced the Mini-SAS to SATA cable and then rebuilt it again with no problems. Unfortunately this morning I woke up to the same set of emails and seeing disk read errors in the system log. I'm pretty lost at this point...hoping someone can help me make some sense of this. home-server-diagnostics-20200615-1921.zip
