June 21, 20206 yr Hey there, I want to plan my new system and I am very unsure if everything works out... Right now I have a Mac Mini + eGPU (vega 54) which I am going to sell because of the many problems that occur... The Vega 56 will be for the new system. Things I want to do with the new system: - 1 Gaming VM Setup with the Vega 56 - 1 Gaming Server VM for Ark, Minecraft or others - 1 Mac OS VM Setup which I only need for media design things (no video editing) At the beginning I only need the gaming setup with server or the Mac OS Setup running. So one gpu could be enough for the beginning? But later it would be nice to be able to run the Mac OS at the same time with the gaming setup (with a second GPU then). Running Unraid without a GPU. Can I run the gaming server VM without a gpu? For the build I thought about: - ASRock X570 Taichi - AMD Ryzen 3900X I don't know if this all works or if it will just not work at all... I guess I will need a extra Ethernet card so that the Gaming Server and the Windows VM get their own... Hopefully someone can help me. I thankfull for your time.
