I have seen this used and discussed in a number of posts but
I cant find a guide or definitive answer. 

I have always had IO slowdowns on my VMs. When I unzip, download or use my disk, the VM turns slow and laggy.
Both my VMs has a dedicated SSD manually assigned.

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
