I'm running a Unraid Server with newest 6.9 beta. I remember there was a GPU Reset bug when testing a 5700XT with Unraid 6.8 some time ago (Windows 10 VM)..

 

Can you tell if it is a good idea to get a R9 290X for GPU Passthrough? I want to get a second GPU for my Server (Ryzen 5 1600 AF 12nm, 32GB RAM, GTX 1060 as first GPU).. I'm asking cause I could get one for a good price..

with my r9 280x i don't need reset patch it's only for vega i guess.

Cool but I just saw this beast could take over 400W, dunno if my 700W psu can handle the whole pc with two gaming VMs running (GTX 1060 and R9 290X)..

I don't know for this 'try a psu calculator on google
