June 30, 20206 yr Hi, I'm in the process of changing my cache drive so I was looking at the wiki for the correct steps and I'm not sure at some point... The wiki says: Quote Click on Shares and set all shares present on your Cache disk to Use cache disk: Yes. This will cause the Mover to move all shares OFF the Cache drive! I don't understand this very well (maybe because english is not my natural language). If you set the cache disk to yes then how will it invoke the mover to move files off the array? I was thinking setting it to no. What is wrong with my understanding of this? Thanks for the help. Edited June 30, 20206 yr by cam217

June 30, 20206 yr Author I get it now... When set to Yes, the cache disk really is just cache then it moves data to the array when scheduler activates the mover. The next step is to invoke the mover. I was thinking that data would move directly by setting to Yes. All good now, let's continue the process. Thanks Johnnie.black for the responsiveness.
