Lidde Posted July 5, 2020 Share Posted July 5, 2020 (edited) I am trying to setup a cache pool using two brand new Intel 545s Series 512GB ssd:s but I don not seem to get the to work together. In the MAIN tab: The first one says fs btrfs, size 512 GB, free 512 BG. The second says only says "Device is part of cache pool" How do I get the to work together as a pool of 1024 GB? When I enter the Cache 2 Settings, there is no information about File system type, the rows aren't there. My thoughts is that it is not set to btrfs, and therefore not working as a pair. itimpi Posted July 5, 2020 Share Posted July 5, 2020 This is expected as the default for a cache pool is to set it up as the btrfs version of raid1 for redundancy . If you want to switch to a different profile then this can be done by clicking on the cache on the Main tab Quote Link to comment
