VGA Controller listed as: Intel corporation device 9bc8 (rev 03)

Featured Replies

Unraid does not see the iGPU in an IOMMU group. It only sees vga compatible controller: Intel corporation device 9bc8 (rev 03), where it should list the iGPU as UHD 630 Intel.... Anyone else have this issue? I am on 6.9.0 beta 22 and I just want to make sure this is a mother board issue and I need to wait for the stable 6.9 release. Thank you I know I have been needy lately.

I am having this issue as well except I am missing it for UHD P630 since I have a Intel E-2288G. Assuming this is happening for all of Coffee Lake CPUs. I'm also on the most recent beta25.

I am not sure this is a 6.9 beta issue or Linux kernel issue as I am running the 6.8.3 release with the older 4.19 Linux kernel with my E-2288G.  With this release the iGPU is also reported as

IOMMU group 2:    [8086:3e9a] 00:02.0 Display controller: Intel Corporation Device 3e9a (rev 02)

This must be the way the motherboard or the iGPU reports itself with later generation CPUs.
