July 6, 20205 yr Hello everybody! So I just got home from work and took a look at my nas to see why my remote vpn access wasn't working and I was greeted by a red X and a warning that disk 3 in my array is in error state and I have absolutly no idea what to do. I can't run a smart self-test on the drive, all it does when I try is flicker and then nothing.. Please help me out. Thanks awesome people! nas-diagnostics-20200706-1601.zip
July 6, 20205 yr Community Expert Initial error is logged as a disk problem, but it then dropped offline so there's no SMART report, power down, check/replace cables on that disk, power back on and post new diags.

July 6, 20205 yr Community Expert Disk is failing, you need to replace it. P.S, You just post the diagnostics zip like before, it includes everything we need.

Alright, thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! As it stands, is my parity drive emulating the failing drive?
