Newegg's running this in the weekend flyer.

 

I saw some talk about it in 2009 but nothing since.  Anyone get this to work?  For 8 ports it seems like a decent deal for $99.  And I'm guessing I can go direct to the Norcotek 4224 backplane connectors, right?
