[SOLVED] Network issue - cannot connect to GUI

Featured Replies

Hi

I've been messing about so much trying to get Wireguard to work I now cannot connect to the webgui. I've tried deleting 'network.cfg' without any success. The server IP address has not changed. Below is the diagnosistics.

It's driving me crazy, I really hope you guys can help get back up and running. Please.

Are you trying by servername or IP?

Just noticed you posted this in the legacy (V5 and older) section of the forum. I am moving have moved it to General Support.

tower.localhost

Did that ever work for you? Doesn't work for me, at least not from another machine on the lan. tower.local might work if your server is named tower, but localhost doesn't make sense except from localhost (the same machine).

Did you take those diagnostics from the command line or from the webUI on localhost?

If you look in your diagnostics in system/ifconfig.txt you can see the IP address of your server. Is that as expected?

Sorry trurl I meant to say tower.local

diagnostics was taken from the command line.

The last thing I was messing about with was Allowed IPs under VPN settings. I think I mistakenly used my server IP

Can you access the webUI from the server itself if you boot in GUI mode?

Thanks I wasn’t aware I could do that. Yes I can now access the webUI from the server.

I have corrected my errors and can now connect as normal.

Thank you so much for your help trurl. I can now sleep easy. 👍
