Keyboard and mouse not working after upgrade to 6.8.3

Featured Replies

Hi there, a few days back tried to upgrade my server from 6.5.3 to 6.8.3, although the process was quite straightforward, when starting to boot my VMs noticed my Windows 7 guests didn't receive any inputs from keyboard or mouse.

There was another Ubuntu guest that was not affected.

At the time of the upgrade, those Windows 7 VMs were based on Q35-2.11 with a GPU pass-through being used mostly for gaming.

After a few hours of troubleshooting decided to rollback to have my gaming PC back during the weekend, and it all started to work as normal.

Any ideas of what changes between these versions could have led to that behaviour?

Both peripherals are plugged via USB to the server.

Alternatively I'm considering targeting 6.6.6 or 6.6.7 for a smaller jump, but if you know of any known issue that could sort this problem in 6.8.3 would be appreciated.

Cheers.
