Drives not recognized but visible in BIOS (Digitus DS-30104-1)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm very new here and currently very lost ;)

First problem that I have is my PCI SATA card, I choose it because it's on compatibility list but still I cant run it properly

So, I'm using Digitus DS-30104-1 it is mentioned here https://wiki.unraid.net/index.php/Hardware_Compatibility#PCI_SATA_Controllers

It's running on my HP DL580 G8 server and I see all drives in BIOS during POST

But in the card BIOS menu they are in Free disk section (sorry not my pic, just for reference)

and.. they are not visible in unRAID...

My unraid-diagnostics-20200710-1308.zip

Thanks for all help

I feel like there is something missing in the card configuration, but in card menu I can only create VD of two or more disks (RAID0 or RAID1) no JBOD, no pass-through nothing that I would expect...

Some Marvell controllers have issues with IOMMU enable, especially the 9230 like you're using, this works for some but Marvell controllers in general are recommended for Unraid v6.

OMG I read this post before, searching for any solution, but I was absolutely sure that this is not the case!

...but obviously it is!

Thank you very much!
