January 8, 201115 yr I have looked and cant find this answer. I removed a drive from the array and now it will not start. To remove the disc I: Stopped the array Unassigned the drive Shutdown Removed the harddrive Started unraid Now it wont let me start the array stating: "Stopped. Invalid configuration." How can i remove this disk and start the array again? Using 5.0-beta2.
January 8, 201115 yr I searched for "remove drive" and found this in 3 seconds: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=8562.0 Maybe the mods can merge these FAQ threads and make some of the topics sticky -- we seem to have the same questions come up over and over. I realise the mods are busy moving and setting stuff up, but it's worth putting on the backburner IMO.

January 27, 201115 yr This topic is already in the wiki's FAQ: How do I remove a hard disk that I do not plan on replacing? If you have any suggestions that would make it easier to find, I'm all ears. I'm hesitant to sticky the thread above in the General Support forum as there are already so many stickies there.
