Unraid wont assign IP addresses

I just built a new system with the intention of using it for Unraid and Plex.  I made my usb drive and let the OS start up.  it will not assign any IP addresses.  Thought it might be the NIC on the motherboard so i tried putting a wireless card in and that did not help either.  This is the motherboard i have https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087M4TRGK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1.  Any help is appreciated.

    Try the latest beta version of Unraid 6.9.0, it has updated Intel ethernet drivers.

    I actually ended up doing that last night and was limited by the number of posts I could make.  Everything worked fine with beta.  Is it safe to use full time or should I wait for formal release?  Any idea when its going to be released?
