July 15, 20205 yr knowlage-diagnostics-20200715-1935.zip Hi Guys, when I try to shutdown the array, it just hangs with "Retry unmounting disk share(s)..." forever. Same when I try to shutdown docker... What's wrong, what can I do here? Edited July 16, 20205 yr by Jaster
July 15, 20205 yr I had this problem yesterday while I was probably trying to do too much at once with the array. As far as I could tell I had no open links to any of the disks, console windows, etc. I just rebooted it *shrugs*. You can find out what is holding it up in the system logs, you might see something like unmounting disk3, retrying disk3, etc etc
July 15, 20205 yr Author It happens event if don't actually do anything, just having the thing up and running.. It says Quote root: umount: /mnt/cache: target is busy. No Idea how to stop it. umount /var/lib/docker Fixes it... no Idea what to do with that...? Edit: Add a script using "User Scripts" to invoke "unmount /var/lib/docker" on array shutdown. Done.
