Hi Everyone,

 

After using Unraid for almost 15 years as a NAS solution, I've finally upgraded and now run an Unraid as my Daily Driver Computer (thanks SpaceInvader for the YouTube video on how to run bare metal VM aside/inside Unraid)...

 

So, what's the best way, generically speaking, to setup Plex with Unraid:

 

  • Install the Plex Media Server App (using Community Applications) directly on Unraid?
  • Install Plex on my always on Windows 10 Daily Driver Virtual Machine and point it to the Unraid drives (which are actually local)?
  • Install Plex on a separate Unraid Server specifically dedicated to Plex?  (I have two Unraid systems; the other one is very low horsepower Celeron)
  • Other?
