Version 6.8.3 - Add Access to my Google Wifi network routing table

Recommended Posts

Hey All

A strange one, at least for me ;-)

My Google Wifi devices run on 192.168.86.x

My main network is 192.168.1.x

Unraid on the main network, cannot access the 192.168.86.x part of my network.

Any browser on the main network has no issue, so my guess is I need to add something to the unraid network routing table.

As currently I cannot access 192.168.86.x on either a docker or VM

Any help would be awesome.

Hi, having the same problem as OP.

Some devices plugged directly into main router via ethernet cables on 192.168.0.1 gateway, and google mesh devices connected via 192.168.86.1 gateway.

Have tried adding to the routing table using various commands i've pieced together from forum posts, e.g. ip route add 192.168.86.0/24 via 192.168.86.1, but get an error that nexthop has invalid gateway.

It can't see the ...86.1 gateway in the first place, so can't seem to add a subnet with that as the gateway. Is there any way to tell it where to look for the ...86.1 address in the first place as a one off, then I can tell it to look for the rest of the ...86.0 network via that gateway?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
