Docker Version "not available" In my case Fix Common Problems plugin was reporting "Unable to communicate with GitHub.com". This issue surfaced after setting unbound Pi-hole as the DNS on my home network. My workaround was as follows. 1. disable VM and docker in unraid settings 2. change the DNS in unraid IP settings to 1.1.1.1 (use whatever DNS you'd like) rather than my home router IP / Pi-hole 3. re-enable VMs and docker in unraid settings 4. toggle advanced view and force update containers in the docker tab of unraid After the following the above steps all contains show as up to date and are auto updating again. Doesn't work... after manually forcing all updates, basic mode shows 'up to date', so far so good. But if i now check for updates, everything reverts back to 'not available' again... So, what is the exact solution to this? Edited June 4, 20215 yr by jowi
June 4, 20215 yr Found the answer on Reddit. Not here. On Reddit. Just upgrade to 6.9.2 and it is fixed.

June 4, 20215 yr Or one of the many other topics on the subject that all point to the same thing that was indicated earlier. One other example:
July 2, 20215 yr DNS change to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 and 1.1.1.1 didn't do it for me. Trying an update to 6.9.2 from 6.8.3.... update: after updating unRAID to 6.9.2, checked Docker and still found "not available", so then checked "/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php" and saw it already had the "@i" edit mentioned in the other thread, then checked Docker again and "not available" was gone and replaced with a mixture of "apply update" and "up-to-date" Hope everything else still works in 6.9.2... August 5, 20214 yr i just did a manual upgrade from 6.7.2 to 6.8.3 and now my dockers cannot find any updates, doesn't matter if i use cloudflare dns, google dns or pihole, all the same. ideas? nevermind found solution here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/108643-all-docker-containers-lists-version-“not-available”-under-update/?do=findComment&comment=993917 Edited August 5, 20214 yr by je82
July 24, 20223 yr Make sure PiHole is not blocking http://msftncsi.com/, or better yet, whitelist it.
February 24, 20233 yr If you're having trouble with one or two apps that are "not available" then you should install this. I was running Unraid 6.11.5 and I had problems with the MeTube app.
February 26, 20233 yr Thanks, I had another docker image fall victim to this pro On 2/24/2023 at 9:47 AM, TimTheSettler said: If you're having trouble with one or two apps that are "not available" then you should install this. UnRAID's docker containers stated this and force-updating the first container, then doing a full check resolved this. Unraid v7.1.4
