Hi,

 

I tried the unraid openelec vm template. It works great.

 

I checked the available version in openelec (8.0.4). The one in unraid template is 6.0.3.

 

Anyone can confirm how to upgrade to the latest stable?

    I don't believe the openelec template include in the OS has been updated in quite a while (as you've seen).  

     

    You're best off following these directions to use OpenElec
