Mac OSX finder folder shows empty but Share folder shows data

Featured Replies

Hello I am seeing a weird issue where when I navigate to the Share via finder on my Mac a large chunk of files are empty. But when I go directly into the Unraid dashboard then to the share I can actually see the files.

Why wouldn't they be showing up on in finder?

Probably wrong permission set up.

Is this a disk share or a user share? If a disk share, make sure you haven't accidentally created a user share named for that disk. SMB will only display one of these. This sort of mistake is one of the many reasons I recommend not sharing disks at all.

Its a user share and always has been a user share.
