July 22, 20205 yr Hi all First up i am new to this, so I apologies up front if i ask stupid questions! I have recently discovered that my parity disk is in error state "Unraid Parity disk error: 22-07-2020 07:19 Alert [TOWER] - Parity disk in error state (disk dsbl) WDC_WD30EFRX-68EUZN0_WD-WCC4N2NC347K (sdb)" After having a look around the community forums, I have done the following. 1. Checked all cables 2. Run short self test (does not work) 3. Rebuild Parity I believe that its maybe a hard drive failure (I have 3 x 3tb WD Red HD drives). All other hard drives seem to be fine. Can I also ask that if I do need another parity drive, can I install a larger drive to future proof? Thank you in advance for your help. July 23, 20205 yr Looks like your parity disk isn't responding. Do you have another disk you can use?
