(Solved) Wake on LAN - v6.1.9 to v6.8.3

Featured Replies

HI all,

From a working v6.1.9 (!) system with fully functional S3 sleep and WOL functionality, I'm now completely stuck!

I've upgraded to v6.8.3, installed Dynamix S3 sleep v3.0.7 which has all the same settings as my old configuration.

The server goes to sleep automatically and manually.

However, when I try to send a magic packet, my server does nothing, It remains asleep.

Has anyone else come across this or have any ideas??

Ive tried reverting to my v6.1.9 / S3 v3.0.4 server config and everything works fine?!

No Idea why this solved the issue but I added the following in the custom commands of Dynamix S3 Sleep;

Custom commands before sleep: ethtool -s eth0 wol g
Custom commands after wake-up: ethtool -s eth0 wol g

I already had the WOL set as 'g' so not sure why adding these helped but they did!
