July 25, 20205 yr I've had one random shutdown last night or early morning and another within the past hour. Since I've read that unRAID doesn't keep logs after a reboot, I went to the Sylog Server settings and set a location for logs to be save, but I'm evidently missing something as it's not saving any logs there. How do I set things up so that I have a log to look at after one of these shutdowns? Obviously, I need to see what's going on (and probably get some help figuring it out). Thanks!

July 25, 20205 yr Author I think I was missing putting in the unRAID server IP as the remote server. I read that in another thread on the forum. It's created a log file in the share now. I'll check what you just linked to learn more, though. Thanks!
July 25, 20205 yr Community Expert There is Help in the webUI. Clicking the Help (?) icon on the main menu bar will toggle help on/off for the entire webUI. Clicking on the label for a specific setting will toggle help for just that setting.

I would say I learn something new every day with unRAID, but that's an understatement. 😄 When ytou know next to nothing, it's easy to learn SOMETHING. 😄 Thanks!
