BastiArts Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 Hey guys, Yesterday I built my new machine with an AMD Ryzen7 CPU and a ROG Strix B550 -F Mainboard. I configured the BIOS as written in the Unraid-Manual, but when I boot up Unraid it says: IPv4 address: not set IPv6 address: not set (Unraid Version 6.8.3) Setting bonding to "no" gives me an IP with 169.xxx.xxxx.xxx, which means that the machine can't connect to my router/DHCP server. So I tried setting a static IP, which I couldn't reach via Browser. Also pinging e.g. the router fails in both cases. I also made diagnostics, which are attached below. P.S The Intel LAN Controller in BIOS settings is enabled (by default) if this matters. Is it possible that my router (Asus RT-AC58U) has troubles with the 2.5Gbit Ethernet Port on my mobo? Or maybe Unraid doesn't support the Ethernet drivers? I hope you guys can help me fixing this problem. Thanks in advance :) tower-diagnostics-20200727-1507.zip Quote
BastiArts Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately it still doesn't work. (even with the 6.9.0-beta25) I tried it once again with DHCP and with a static IP. In both cases it can't connect. On the router Dashboard under "Connected Devices" my machine also doesn't show up. Diagnostics attached below. I have no clue tower-diagnostics-20200728-0148.zip Quote
BastiArts Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 I can finally access the WebGUI. The solution was: I switched to Unraid OS version 6.9.0-beta25 (It only works with this version in my case) I reset my router and tweaked some settings I switched to another RJ-45 cable and I used a static IP address Thank you @jonathanm for the tip with the beta version Quote
