Would it be possible to let a VM detect which motherboard chipset is on the host? This would come in very handy to get something like SLI working which is only enabled if the driver is being ran on Nvidia authorized motherboards. I might be wrong about this, but I vaguely remember something like this for CPUs.

(Also, yes I know SLI is crap, but I'm just passing the time).
