Use board HDMI for VM

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am using my GT1030 dedicated card for my Windows 10 VM. This card has one HDMI connection. Now I want to add another Screen which would require a second HDMI connection.

my board has two additional connections for the iGPU. The integrated GPU is used by Emby server. When I use the board hdmi, all I can see is the shell of unraid itself.

Is there a way to make use of one of the two board HDMI-connections and make it to put out the video of the Win10VM?

PS. I cannot also pass through the iGPU to win10 as it is needed by my dockers. The other way round, as the GT1030 does not support venc, I cannot use this for my emby server.

thanks!

You've probably got a display port on the video card in addition to the HDMI.  Pick up a display port -> HDMI adapter for the 2nd display
