Cannot connect to Unraid Services behind VPN

I have setup a L2TP over IPSec VPN on my Ubiquiti Edgerouter X. When I connect via my IPhone, I can see the Unraid GUI but when I try and access one of my services like Glances which sits behind a reverse proxy I cannot connect. If I turn the VPN off and connect locally via my dns name everything works okay and from any other network works fine too.

 

I was hoping to have Glances sitting in a reverse proxy and controlling access to only my local IP using Nginx.

 

At the moment I am trying to understand whether its an issue with Unraid / Nginx or my VPN.
