stolen unraid usb

my unraid usb was stolen If I use my once per year key transfer will that disable the unraid usb that was stolen or when the people who stole it try to use it will it cause issues with mine?

Gotta ask this.  They stole the flash drive and left the server and associated equipment in place?

yeah..... ex-girlfriend im having to take her to court to get the server back so shes trying to only give me the 4u supermicro server and the 10 4tb drives not the unraid usb or the rest of the hard drives as they were scavenged so I dont have receipts for them rather than take it back to court I figured I would use the once per year key transfer but was unaware if she plugged in the old usb to a new server if it would crash both servers or just hers.

It might still work if she never upgrades the versions of unraid and doesn't connect to internet during startup. Its best if you can somehow work something out or simply steal it back.
