Public Shares Not Accessible

Featured Replies

Spent the past few weeks setting up my server and had everything working as expected during my trial edition. Yesterday I purchased a basic license key and all of a sudden my public shares are no longer accessible. I can only access shares through specific users. Any ideas?

Have tried accessing the shares from the following

MacBook

 - Server would be visible via finder, could access the public shares as a guest

 - smb://[ip address] connect as guest

Windows

 - Server would be visible via explorer, could access the public shares as guest

Scanner

 - smb://[server name] (no username/password)

Can you provide more details on how you are trying to access your shares?

Tried via my macbook and windows pc, before i could just navigate to the server and the public shares would be accessible with no username/password required. Now can't access without a user
