I'm really new to unraid (and servers.) This is all a learning experience for me. It's obvious I've made some mistakes along the way and it's causing me some issues. Unfortunately reversing my actions has not remedied anything. I would like to start fresh and I've seen the threads regarding wiping the array but I don't want to just reformat my array. I want to start over like my USB that contains unraid has never even touched the motherboard. 1-Do I need to format and reload unraid on the usb? 2-And if I do that will my ram have cached files that will immediately alter my usb unraid OS changing it to something similar to what I'm trying to start over from?

thanks in advance

On the flash drive, if you delete the contents of /config except for super.dat and the .key file then you are starting over again, with the exception that you will not have to reassign your drives.
