SLNetworks
So, a while back I did some updates for some apps on Unraid, in the morning it was off. Now my server refuses to boot and almost never sees the USB key I used for the OS. It also doesn't see my 'bond0' network link, and therefore selfasigns itself a 169.254.x.x address. What are my options, ideally aside from re-doing my setup? Quote Link to comment
trurl
Copy config folder from flash. Prepare flash as a new install. Copy config folder to flash. Be sure to boot from USB2 port. If still network issue delete config/network.cfg from flash to use defaults. 1 Quote Link to comment
SLNetworks
How do I copy the config folder from within another OS? (Winblows, OS X, Linux) Quote Link to comment
trurl
Put the flash drive in your PC. Let it checkdisk, then copy config folder from flash to your PC 1 Quote Link to comment
SLNetworks
Windows will see it? I tried my Mac not too long ago. Unraid booted in GUI safe mode. Browser window on server says it can't find localhost. Quote Link to comment

How did you prepare flash drive originally? 6 minutes ago, SLNetworks said: Unraid booted in GUI safe mode. Browser window on server says it can't find localhost. Do you mean you can access the webUI on the network but not on the local machine, or is it still not working at all? Quote Link to comment
SLNetworks
I'm certain I prepped it on my Mac with Etcher. Using Windows now. Quote Link to comment
SLNetworks
Some error messages I saw when it booted earlier: 1) usb 4-3.2: Disable of device-(U1/U2) failed 2) usb 4-3.2: device not accepting address 3, error 62 3) usb 4-3.2 Device not responding to setup address. I have access to my config files. I'm happy. These error messages I believe are a result of the drive messing up. Am I wrong? Edit: What about my license now? SLNetworks
I was booting from a USB 2 port. Board in question is an Asrock x99 WS-E/10G, E5-2683-v3 (14/22/2.2GHz), 64GB RAM Edited August 14, 2020 by SLNetworks Type of USB port Quote Link to comment
SLNetworks
When trying to copy the config folder, it said the "monitor.ini" file was corrupt. Further hunting said it was in the "dynamix" plugin folder. Quote Link to comment
