Trial expiring during parity build

I started building parity on two 8tb drives, but it says theres only 4 hours remaining on my trial... will everything finish correctly? I dont get paid until next week....

The trial expiring will not stop everything in its tracks or interrupt your parity check.  The server will continue to function normally unless the array is restarted.

 

You could potentially run a trial license in perpetuity as long as you never restarted the array after the license expired.  Of course, that would mean no updates ever to the OS. 😁

 

You will be OK to run the server until you can purchase a license as long as you do not reboot server or restart the array.

 

Limetech will also give you a 15-day extension or two, if needed, beyond the initial 30-day trial.

who should i contact for the extension? I will most likely have to power cycle my server in the next few days.

You can extended the trial using the GUI twice for an additional 15 days each time, so total trial can be up to 60 days.

From the Registration page, you can either Purchase or Request Extension.

 

To access it, the easyest solution is to clic the link on the top right.
