unassigned devices plugin - then what?

hi!

 

got up and running this morning, built array, formatted drives, made shares and now filling them up.

 

i have two SSDs dedicated to Plex and VMs.

 

i've installed the community apps plugin and unassigned devices plugin.

 

i don't want to mount the drives as they currently are, i want to format them to XFS (i assumed XFS to keep TRIM) and have them as individual drives outside the main array so i can put plex DB on one and VMs on the other.

 

but how do i format them, how do i keep them outside array and have them ready?
