not seeing hdds

Hi. I am a first-time user of unraid and am having trouble seeing any hdds to add to the array. I currently have 4 drives in the server and they show up in the bios, but when I try to add the drives to the array it just shows unassigned. I am running a Supermicro X9 with an LSI sas card. Please help.

    You're using a RAID controller, that's not recommended, we recommend a regular HBA, you can use that controller but need to create a JBOD/RAID0 volume for each disk on the controller BIOS, note that if you replace it with a different model in the future Unraid won't find the existing disks.
