No GPU output after passing through 6/12 cores/threads on MacOS VM

I have a MacOS Catalina VM with using 4 cores/8 threads of my AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (6 core/12 threads). I also have a Radeon RX 580 passed through to my VM. 

 

As soon as I try and give my VM 6 cores/12 threads, My VM will boot but have no video output at all.

 

I have already tried removing:

    <topology sockets='1' dies='1' cores='4' threads='2'/>

 

I also have a Windows 10 VM with an almost identical setup which works fine with 6 cores.

 

Any help would be appreciated!
