hi i curious on a freshly rebooted  or when your using Unraid gui page.. flipping to the Docker page is quick  on the SSD the nvme i have takes like 1 second to populate..

 

but after a while of idling like a few hours or overnight  clicking Docker is slow as molasses .  can take like 30 seconds sometimes.. but its also set not to check for updates to speed it up.. but why is is soo slow on a SSD   its like its gone to sleep but i figured on a SSD it doesnt sleep its instant always..  and or is there a way to put Docker into RAM  so its even faster since i have 32gig   put there to improve performance to have the instantanious speed..  if that is possible.. if its not thats ok i live with it.. but i just curious  i can get that 1 second population  always or its something i  cant after several times .. i guess its like  Spinning up HD after they gone to sleep  takes time to power back up

Did you leave the page open overnight? The slow loading could be browser related.

That page loads information from the docker image so 32GB isn't enough to load the entire image, not that I think doing that would resolve that speed issue.

no i do leave the Main/Dashboard page open overnight...

and i do fine  using Google Chrome is faster  then Internet Edge

also i find too  when i do load up  docker  it will say some versions up to date  apply update and not available.. yet its supposed to update ever night at 12am  or 1am  forget what i set it..

 

but ya  once  i click the docker and it spins up so to say...  then going back to it from any page only takes 1 second to populate.. like its not sleeping anymore.

 

ah  ok  ya my docker is set to 50 gb  ya so it wouldnt be able to load it.. what i ment was whatever control Docker page   like a Text File populates faster for displying... im guessing each time you click Docker page it reads the SSD  docker.img file  but ya  i left the Main or whatever page open  and its slow once docker seems to wake up then shes fast again..  was wondering if i can tweak it.. but i can try again later   keep brower closed on unraid and see what happens 

also i find the settings page always slow to load.. are these slownes's   because i running off a usb 2 stick not a usb 3

can it also be memory speed  as i dont think i have XMP setup on the ram

 

also i find  if i click the Update All  doesnt really work  and if i click the check for updates all of them 

it sits there for 20-30min  checking....  till i just get fed up  and then i refresh  and nothings changes still tells me not available etc

Neither. USB stick only affects boot time and nothing afterwards.

RAM speed has zero impact on the page load.

 

That is sounding increasingly like it's a browser problem.

issues on both  i do fine  IE slower the Chrome but experience same issues  slow  Settings,  Slow Docker after a time  and here is just some of my dockers

i just refreshed page it didnt update even when you click apply update  and it says its done the update once page refresheds it will still say appy update

 

is there anything i can check.. to improve things... usually a reboot of unraid seems to fix the docker  up to date things  but its onl been running 3 days

 

is there a like in windows a registery cleaner   cleans up  things  is there one for unraid  to check for any dead links  things causing it to be slow

so i tried check for updates on IE and Chrome  it still  just spinning

i checked the system logs and the last 3 are in red

so i left it overnight.. closed..  i loaded up  unraid in the browser  and went to docker was slow in loading .  its like its checking for updates  when in notifications its set to never check.. and 

it didnt update   at 12 and 3 amp to update teh dockers and plugins it did nothing  still shows the above    apply update not available  up to date...  if i click apply update it shows it downloads  says it complete but goes back to apply update.....

 

now i going to reboot unraid and they should work again.. is there a fix to fix this issue  maybe thats why the docker is slow

after a reboot..  docker still slow.. and still reporting apply update not available up to date..  as it should have fixed it at 12 and 3am..

i clicked the check all   after a 3rd reboot  it still hangs checking.....  for 30 min  did nothing..  something going haywire  is there something broken  i can find etc  as fix common issues found nothing.. still reports the apply update not available up to date.. it wont update  the ones that say apply update
