Trying to port forard through a macvlan

I've been trouble shooting this on on and off for months:

 

My goal is to have my docker containers connectable on my VPN through pfsence. I'm using a macvlan to put these dockers on a vlan that then forces all their traffic over the VLAN_WAN connection

 

Rtorrent -> vpnnet macvlan -> trucked connection to PFsence router -> 192.168.3.0 vlan -> VPN WAN

 

the dockers can send and revive data through the vpn (right public ip, tracker can see it, I can download) but I can't get connectable.

 

I think there's one simple config item I'm missing and it's driving me insane
