dubsta Posted August 29, 2020 Share Posted August 29, 2020 (edited) Hi I am new to Unraid and have been experiencing some random system hangups every other day. The machine seems to be running but I cannot access it from the web GUI and attempting to shut it down using the Power Off button doesn't do anything. Only thing left is to do a hard reboot which is obviously not good. I have written the syslog to my USB and following are the last entries before the system got stuck: Aug 29 06:26:01 X kernel: md: sync done. time=29549sec Aug 29 06:26:01 X kernel: md: recovery thread: exit status: 0 Aug 29 06:33:52 X kernel: mdcmd (47): spindown 1 Aug 29 06:36:36 X kernel: mdcmd (48): spindown 0 Aug 29 06:36:37 X kernel: mdcmd (49): spindown 2 Aug 29 06:41:01 X kernel: mdcmd (50): spindown 3 Aug 29 07:02:50 X kernel: nvme nvme0: I/O 635 QID 3 timeout, completion polled Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu: INFO: rcu_sched detected stalls on CPUs/tasks: Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu: 1-...!: (0 ticks this GP) idle=528/0/0x0 softirq=799396/799396 fqs=1427 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu: 6-...!: (1 GPs behind) idle=f38/0/0x0 softirq=691347/691347 fqs=1427 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu: (detected by 3, t=60006 jiffies, g=2573333, q=351) Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: Sending NMI from CPU 3 to CPUs 1: Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: Sending NMI from CPU 3 to CPUs 6: Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu: rcu_sched kthread starved for 74127 jiffies! g2573333 f0x0 RCU_GP_WAIT_FQS(5) ->state=0x0 ->cpu=12 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu: RCU grace-period kthread stack dump: Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu_sched R running task 0 10 2 0x80000000 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: Call Trace: Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: ? __schedule+0x4ef/0x548 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: schedule+0x65/0x6e Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: schedule_timeout+0x1d8/0x218 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: ? collect_expired_timers+0xb0/0xb0 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: rcu_gp_kthread+0x45f/0x788 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: ? sync_sched_exp_handler+0x80/0x80 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: kthread+0x10c/0x114 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: ? kthread_park+0x89/0x89 Aug 29 07:03:39 X kernel: ret_from_fork+0x22/0x40 I would really appreciate some help here.
