Fixed ip with unraid?

Featured Replies

Can i give my unraid server a fixed (=always the same) ip?

is it safe?

how do i do this?

(its setup now behind a router-> then gigabit switch)

Yes you can set your ip adress in the web interface. Just change it from DHCP and set your prefered ip adress.

The router and gigabit switch shouldn't cause any interference.

Access your tower through the web interface.

Click "Settings"

Scroll down to find "Obtain IP Address Automatically"

Change to "No"

Enter your IP address or keep the same one.
