Error copying files

I have an internal hdd on my PC running Ubuntu 20.04 that I am attempting to copy files from on to my unraid server. I keep getting error messages such as :

 

Error while copying "file xyz"

 

There was an errror copying the file into smb://myshare/mysharefolder

 

No such file or directory

 

The strange thing is that there is a file and directory. Copying the file from the internal HDD onto my internal nvme works and I can open the file from both on my pc. I just cannot copy these files onto Unraid from either the internal HDD or the NVME.

 

Any Ideas? I have never had such problems copying files before on my previous smb network drives. Do you think its an Unraid problem or Ubuntu? 🤔
