Hello,

I am using  plexinc/pms-docker  with Unraid 6.8.3    and it works.

I have a "Music" share on my Unraid server that has read permissions for most users and WRITE permission for one user.

 

I would like to know what access PLEX has to the Music share?   Can PLEX write to the Music share?

 

This website    https://hub.docker.com/r/plexinc/pms-docker/

says that PLEX has a 'plex' user that is used within the container.    I am not a docker or Plex expert.

    It all depends upon how you've mapped the Music share to Plex.  You have a choice between read-only and read-write.  Edit the app, and then edit that path mapping for Music and adjust to suit.
