Hi, 

 

I'll shortly have moved house and when I do I plan on setting up my server in the loft. I want to run "preferably" one lead down to the study and connect up a monitor, mouse and keyboard. Looking around there are plenty of HDMI extenders to choose from but I think this may provide the best for the money;

 

4K HDMI 2.0 Dual KVM Extender

 

It supports 4K with zero latency. There are some comments about power hungry speakers needing to be routed separately, which won't be a problem, as long as I have good quality video with zero interruption. 

 

Does anyone have any advice or better suggestion(s)?

    Maybe a bit late. But i do have a KVM ( hdmi  usb3.0) switch

     

    it works fine normally but i cant put tho my KB to the windows VM on unraid. Video and Mouse are working correctly. SO not sure if its the switch i use or the keyboard i use.
