problem building parity

Featured Replies

Hi, I have set my unraid to a new configuration and started building parity, but i keep getting this error over and over with different sectors.

I have updated my unraid version, and have been updating disks before this and converting to XFS.

Issues in multiple disks at the same time:

Sep 11 02:54:30 Tower kernel: sd 9:0:7:0: Power-on or device reset occurred
Sep 11 02:54:32 Tower kernel: sd 9:0:5:0: Power-on or device reset occurred
Sep 11 02:54:35 Tower kernel: sd 9:0:6:0: Power-on or device reset occurred

This suggest a power/cable issue, also good idea to update the LSI firmware since it's on a very old release:

LSISAS2008: FWVersion(07.15.08.00)

Current one is 20.00.07.00.
