January 18, 201115 yr Patriot PSD32G13332 PC10600 2GB DDR3 Desktop Memory Upgrade - 1333MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, Non-ECC, CL9, 1x2048MB $19.99 $9.99 after MIR $1.99 shipping Unfortunately this RAM is not on the approved list for any of the Supermicro boards that I checked.
January 18, 201115 yr I hate MIR. For a long time we has moved away from them. Now they are back again. I don't usually go for them because I forget about them and then kick myself for not doing it. Better to just buy at a good price and skip the guilt.
January 18, 201115 yr Author Agreed. I'm considering not bothering with the MIR on this one because $20 is still a pretty good price.
January 18, 201115 yr You silly kids (j/k), all you need is a quickly whipped together spreadsheet and your cell phone for taking pictures. Document it in the spread sheet and you'll never forget, it's easy and literally takes 1-2 minutes of your life with each rebate.
January 20, 201115 yr Over the past 6 months I've sent in at least 6 rebates, all proper documents, everything on time. I think I've gotten 50% of them fulfilled at best. In the end I decide it's not worth my time to harass the companies for my $10 or $20 back.
