X4 640 isn't a low watt CPU, but, you might find a use for it (I swap the CPUs and motherboards around to come up with a better setup for an unRAID box while upgrading my video transcode box).  There's a bunch of motherboards to choose from, including both DDR2 and DDR3 based boards.

 

They also have the on-going sale on a boxed i3 550.
