my array wont start after a power failure.

Featured Replies

I just lust lost power and when it came back, i powered up my unraid and when i go to the web interface it just says "starting..." in the command area but it wont actually start.  the "Free" column reads "Mounting" for 5 of the 11 disks.

How can i get my array to start back up.  it seems like its stuck in the mounting process for these 5 disks

It may take up to 15 minutes or more to mount the disk if there were a lot of journal entries to replay in the file systems.  It is not "stuck".

Be patient, press 'refresh" every once in a while.  The disks will eventually mount.

it has been at least 35 minutes since i powered it back up... is that still normal?

Try reloading the web page.

Also, try to grab a syslog so we can see what is going on.

Please post a syslog... I'd love to see the lines showing the file-system journal replay.

Or, just type this and grab only those lines:

grep replayed /var/log/syslog
