Don't use controllers with or connected to SATA port multipliers.

I appreciate you responding but a little bit of constructive feedback

 

what you replied with was no help what so ever.

 

I did do some research before i posted and was not lazy just looking for a hand out. the issue ended up being a SATA cable that was not plugged into one of my SATA backplane correctly which was where my parity drives sat as well as a fault 1TB SDD cache drive that was part of my cache pool.

Glad you find the problem, but we still don't recommend using SATA port multipliers, and you might see similar errors in the near future, though they do work for some.
